The English IB HL program is organised into four sections which will be studied over the course of two years: Year One (Grade 11) and Year Two (Grade 12).

Part 2 (Detailed Study) and Part 3 (Genre Study) will be completed in Year Two.

Please Note: To prepare for all IBHL English A Literature assessment, instruction will focus on a critical and detailed analysis of literature; formative assignments and class work are designed to help candidates prepare for formal IB assessment events. There is an expectation that students will continue practicing/developing the ability to study and learn independently.
