Orthopedic ICD-10 for Physical & Occupational Therapy Services: Part 1

This 3-hour webinar program will build upon the basics of ICD-10 by providing in-depth ICD-10 coding, documentation and payment information for physical and occupational therapy services with a focus on adult and geriatric orthopedic and nerve conditions and injuries. Conditions discussed will include, but not limited to:

• Total knee replacement

• Carpel tunnel syndrome

• Hand and wrist injury and lacerations

• Low back pain versus low back strain

• Lateral epicondylitis and shoulder bursitis

A hands on approach using case scenarios will be used to incorporate documentation changes and compare ICD-9 to ICD-10 codes. This intermediate session includes coding resources and additional tips related to transitioning to ICD-10.

• Identify documentation issues pertinent to PT and OT services as it applies to ICD-10
