Starbucks Coffee first store was opened in March 30, 1971 in Seattle, Washington.The mission of Starbucks founder at that time was only planning to sell high quality coffee beans and roasting equipment. In their first store, they sell whole bean coffee until 1976.In 1912, they open their new store in Pike Place Market where they began to sell espresso coffee in 1986.In 1987, Howard Schultz bought the company from the original owners. He started to expand the business by opening new outlets outside Seattle. There were around 46 stores in 1989 and they roast close to 2.000.000 pounds of coffee a year. Since that, Howard Schultz is expanding the business through the year by opening more outlets in America and outside America.TYPES OF COMPANYStarbucks is a multinational corporation.
