WHY SHOULD MY EMPLOYER HOST THE AT WORK …

WHY SHOULD MY EMPLOYER HOST THE AT WORK PROGRAM? FROM WEIGHT WATCHERS?? Since 1984 the Weight Watchers At Work Program has brought America's trusted, healthy weight-loss system to the workplace by offering prepaid series of weekly meetings. With the majority of Americans spending the bulk of their day on the job, the workplace is an ideal setting for employees to feel supported while they learn to lose weight safely and sensibly and live a healthy lifestyle. More than 10,000 corporations have hosted At Work meetings in the U.S. because they work ? people who lose weight with the support of a group have greater success than those who go it alone.

WHAT'S THE COST? WHAT TAKES PLACE? The minimum enrollment requirement to start or renew a series is only 15 participants. The typical cost per Member per 10-week series is $120. Series fees are due in full no later than at the end of an Information Session. Many companies choose to subsidize the cost of an At Work series for its employees, frequently with group goal incentives. Additional fees may apply for payment via payroll deduction or company invoice.

Weight Watchers supplies a trained Group Leader, who is a true Weight Watchers weight loss success story, as well as a weigh scale and all the program materials Members will need to get started on the Weight Watchers program. Typically, meetings last 45 minutes and include a quarter hour, confidential weigh-in followed by a half-hour meeting. Membership in an At Work series also provides your co-workers with access to any Weight Watchers meeting in Arizona for the duration of the series.

WHAT'S NECESSARY TO GET STARTED?

1. Designate a key contact from your company to ensure the best At Work series possible. The contact will promote series Openings and Renewals, coordinate series sign-ups, collect payment, and secure logistics, including the arrangement of a consistent weekly meeting location with the proper amount of seating.

2. Spread the word. Internal communications tools, such as electronic bulletins, payroll memorandums and flyers are available from Weight Watchers to assist in the promotion of your upcoming At Work Information Session, Opening or Renewal.
