Job DescriptionJob Title:Marketing SpecialistDepartment:DreamMaker Marketing DepartmentReports To:Vice President / Director of MarketingFLSA Status:ExemptPrepared By:DreamMaker Bath & KitchenPrepared Date:December 1, 2011SUMMARYThe marketing specialist is responsible for supporting the marketing efforts of the corporate team and more than 40 franchisees to strengthen the DreamMaker brand. This person will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of marketing systems, monitoring the development of ad collateral, assisting in brand management and facilitating franchisees’ marketing requests.The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or other related field or a minimum of three years related experience. This person will represent a positive image of DreamMaker to the general public, including franchisees, vendors, consultants, employees and customers. This position requires extraordinary organizational skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to manage and meet the demands of a fast-paced office by multi-tasking, remaining flexible and meeting multiple, continuous deadlines under pressure is a must. Hours may vary with some nights, weekends and overtime required.This position will collaborate with all departments in a team spirit, with the end goal of increasing growth and profitability for DreamMaker and its franchise network, while at the same time delivering DreamMaker’s brand position, mission and vision in accordance with its Code of Values?. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Coordinate the purchase and assignment of lists for the lead development team.Manage ongoing updates to existing and new lead generation systems. Research new methods of lead generation for franchisees to utilize.Work with corporate staff, franchisees and third parties to assist in the development and implementation of lead generation programs/systems and other marketing projects as assigned by the vice president / director of marketing.Coordinate demographic studies of DreamMaker customers.Coordinate the implementation of the DreamMaker location system for franchisees.Research the latest industry trends and economic forecasts to keep DreamMaker up-to-date.Train new and existing franchisees on DreamMaker marketing systems individually and through training classes, workshops, conference calls, and the annual convention.Keep supervisor updated on projects, progress, and challenges at weekly meetings. Coordinate with staff to accomplish moderate to complex projects and activities and assist in planning and executing annual or other periodic conferences. Track pre-determined key department metrics and project status.Provide administrative support to the Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations committee (MAP). Perform other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications other than their own.REPORTING LEVELThis position reports directly to the vice president / director of marketing, and will also take direction from other department managers. This position may as required, report to any level of management or within any department of DreamMaker related to special projects and assignments.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNone at this time.
