Toddler 15-33 Months
Ratio 1:6
A toddler learns by experiencing the environment through their senses, by moving around and through social interactions. The appropriate teaching is to give many opportunities or self-starting simulating activities. Children this age thrive on routine and repetition to help them experience success. For example, patience and allowing enough time for tasks is essential (i.e. when a child is learning to put on his/her jacket).
A typical daily program includes time for table activities and play. A variety of age-appropriate materials are available to encourage the development of pre-reading, pre-math and critical thinking skills.
Toddlers are learning language rapidly. Books, puzzles, and music as well as time and space for active play are needed as they start to acquire social skills.

It is our philosophy that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery. Children are creative, and receptive, and our program strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in its children. It is also our policy that children will be supervised at all times.
Conferences will be held twice a year to formally go over our documentation of your child’s development in all areas, intellectual, physical, social and emotional and any other area that you would like to have us work on. However, if at anytime you have questions, comments, or concerns about our curriculum please feel free to discuss it with your child’s teacher or the Director.
Our hours of operation at the center are Monday through Friday 7am-5pm.
