On all offenses students will receive a call home and a zero for the assignment. Additionally administration will be notified. Second offenses include a detention. Third offenses will include a referral.Work is assigned daily. All assignments assigned Monday through Thursday of the current week will be due the following Monday. Work assigned on a Friday is due the following Friday. Work assigned at the end of the first three grading periods will count for the next grading periodWork assigned the last week of school will be by the last day of school.The dates of Interims are tentative and may be given on any day. Students will have a least one week notice prior to interimLate work will be accepted for one letter grade less each week after the due date to a minimum of a 50.No late work will be accepted the last week of the grading period.Student are responsible for checking the class website daily.The following is the grading breakdown.Exams 45%Includes quizzes, Topic Exams, and Interims.All other assignments 45%Includes class work, home learning, and VocabularyClass participation 10%Every time a student participates in a class discussion a note will be made. Students are required to participate at least twice a week for full creditExams will be given bi-weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays and will count for the current grading period.Every day as students enter there will be an assignment posted. This assignment is expected to done immediately.Absent students may only turn in late work after the absence is excused and are granted one additional week to make up the assignmentStudents are encouraged to Ask questions at any time. Attend Math study hall / tutoring in room 214 everyday afterschool from 2:20 to 3:20Be prepared daily with materials.Course MaterialsRequired MaterialsStudents must bring materials to class daily.
