Medical director of annual medical mission trip (2008-present) through Faith in Practice

organization, leading a team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to Guatemala doing a variety of general surgery, gynecologic surgery, and dental cases

TEACHING:

Attending anesthesiologist supervising both anesthesia residents and CRNA’s in the clinical setting, including anesthesia for high-risk spine, neurosurgical, vascular, thoracic, and general surgical cases.

Attending anesthesiologist in both the neurosciences and cardiothoracic intensive care units. The Neurosciences ICU includes neurosurgical patients, critically ill neurology patients, and neuro- or ortho-spine patients. The cardiothoracic ICU includes post-operative cardiac surgery patients and thoracic surgery patients.
