| |

Procedures for Performance Pay

1. Each fiscal year the President will determine the funds available for performance and bonus pay and will notify each Vice President of the availability of funds.

2. With input from the Supervisors in their Division, each Vice President will review the contributions and performance of their eligible employees for possible consideration of a performance pay increase. Such increases shall be reserved for the top performers and will not be an across the board increase or bonus for all employees.

3. If the Vice President feels a performance pay increase is warranted, he/she will submit a completed TCTC Request for Performance form with all pertinent documentation. He/She should use the Performance Pay Calculation section as a guide in determining the appropriate amount of increase.

4. Performance Pay increases may be submitted once a year. The due date for 2007-2008 Fiscal Year is: March 15th to be payable in the April paycheck.

5. Requests should be submitted through the chain of command to the appropriate Vice President no later than March 3, 2008.

6. Approved requests will be submitted by the Vice Presidents to the President as a group on March 10, 2008. Requests not submitted by March 10th will not be approved.

7. Upon approval or disapproval, the President will forward the requests to the Director of Personnel for processing.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Employee must be in an FTE position (temporary employees are not eligible)

• Employees must have completed their probationary period

• Employees that have been issued a Substandard Warning Notice and are in their improvement period are not eligible for consideration.
