EPM Public Queries for Security Liaison Reporting with Job Data, February, 2010

Two (2) additional queries have been created in EPM for Security Liaisons to audit their Agencies’ User IDs with Job Information from HRMS. These additional public queries and descriptions are as follows:

CT_CORE_SEC_OPRID_JOB_AUDIT

Query identifies all User IDs by Employee Number in an Agency. Query returns Name, Dept ID, Employee No., Employee (Job) Record, Job Indicator (P or S), Job Effective Date, Job Code Description, Location, Employees Status, Termination Date, Userid(s) and Account Status (Locked/Unlocked). Query prompts by Agency Acronym (ie DAS%).

Liaisons can use this query to audit Userids in their agencies against Job Data. Analysis is required to determine which Userid(s) belong to which job, if an Employee has more than one Job and/or more than one User id. Any discrepancies in reports are to be reported to the Core-CT Security Mailbox.

CT_CORE_SEC_OPRIDS_ROLES_EMPID

Query returns Name, Dept ID, Employee No., Employee (Job) Record, Job Indicator (P or S), Job Effective Date, Job Code Description, Location, Employees Status, Termination Date, Userid(s), Account Status (Locked/Unlocked) and Roles. Query prompts by Employee Number.

Liaisons can use this query to audit roles and Userids in their agencies against Job Data. Analysis is required to determine which Userid(s) belong to which job, if an Employee has more than one Job and/or more than one User id. Any discrepancies in reports are to be reported to the Core-CT Security Mailbox.

EPM Public Queries for Security Liaison Reporting, June, 2009

Five (5) public queries have been created in EPM for Security liaisons to determine a combination of the following Core-CT user profile values in the agencies: User IDs, Department Descriptions, Roles and Account lock status. These queries were provided to aid Security Liaisons for the auditing of User IDs and transitioning of roles to other Users (ie inactivation of retirees and reassignment of roles as a result of the Retirement Incentive Program (RIP) of 2009).

Security Liaisons will only need EPM access to run these queries in EPM; no additional role is required. The HRMS and Financial Security Liaison roles will provide access to these queries in EPM. The new public queries and descriptions are as follow:

CT_CORE_SEC_ACCT_LOCKED – All active or inactive User IDs in Core-CT by Agency (ie DAS%)

This Query identifies all User IDs either locked out or active. Query prompts on agency (ie DAS%) and account lock status. The value of 0 (zero) indicates an active account. The value of 1 indicates the account is locked.

CT_CORE_SEC_ACTIV_USERS_BY_DEPT – Active Core-CT Users and roles by agency

This Query identifies all CORE-CT User IDs by agency whose accounts are not locked out and their associated roles. This query prompts by agency (ie DAS%).

CT_CORE_SEC_BY_USERID – User Account Status by USERID

This Query identifies User ID, Department Description and account lock status (0= active; 1 = Inactive). Use this query to determine if a User Account (ACCTLOCK) is Active or Inactive. Query prompts on agency (ie DAS%).

If you find there are discrepancies in these query results between EPM and the HR or Financial applications for any of the fields in these queries, please inform the Security team via the mailbox: Core-CT Security

We do not advise modifying these queries to identify Employee IDs, Email IDs, Data Permissions or Last Sign on Date and Time. If you require this information for audit purposes, please contact the Security Team with your request and we will generate security queries out of the Portal, HRMS or Financial applications for this purpose.

To easily locate all security queries in EPM, navigate to EPM Reporting Tools > Query > Query Manager. Click on Advanced search and enter the following field values, and click Search:
