2 Timothy 3:1 King James Version (KJV) 3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times

shall come.

The apostasy (the desertion of your true faith in God); speaks of things waxing worse and worse as man forsakes the ways of God's righteousness. It is predicting the final days of the church age, as we know it. Unless man's soul is anchored down in Christ he will wonder where God is in his life. There should be no wondering about who you are and where you should stand in these last days.

2 Timothy 3 King James Version (KJV) 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are

they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the

truth.

These perilous times are upon us. We are bearing witness of those days spoken of by Timothy in his day. As he stood to preach the gospel, God took him in the spirit to this day that we are living in; to bear witness that this is what we will go through in our time of His coming soon. We are living in prophecy being fulfilled as we live this day.

Perilous times means times of suffering and pain such as we have never seen before in mankind. These perilous times will come back to back in various ways. It is things that cause sorrow that grieves the soul. We won' have time to think or wonder why me Lord. We all must come under the same calling to save lives and win souls to God. These grievous times means to be made sorry, and to be sorrowful of the sin in mankind affecting the earth as we pray one for another. We will all bear witness of those days in these later days before Christ's return.

When we see the sin of mankind multiplying so greatly, we should be praying like never before for salvation to inhabit the earth in them who are unaware that God loves them; to give them a chance to turn around before it is too late. We must all pray that these things do not change us from the way that God loves us, and all of his creation.

We should all be grieved and afflicted together as we live the love of God realizing that the sinner does not realize his own self injury in hurting others. He will be held accountable for those things of which he refuses to repent, before God. We must be as forgiving as Christ was in sympathy to those who criticized Him through the hardness

of their heart, as He healed the sick and afflicted on the Sabbath day. They condemned Him in their heart which man thought was a rest day for all mankind looking at the law of Moses, which had passed on and of no effect under "New Covenant."

2 Timothy 3:8 King James Version 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.

We must not be as those who rebel and withstand truth and the way of righteousness in Christ. He is not living through us; if we are rebelling against Him in our heart and mind as we try to fix things through our own self-will efforts.

God wants us so strong, that we will resist the ungodly ways of the world by just turning away and not following their ways but standing on God's unchanging love and faith in us.

He trusts us to keep on standing, trusting and believing in His guiding Word to bring us to perfection in Him just as Daniel did in his day of being tried. This all about winning souls for the Kingdom of God.

The same faith that God has in trusting and believing that we would turn from the world as He gave the life of His Son Jesus, to appease His own law of sin and corruption never to enter Heaven again. We must return that same faith and trust as we stand in Him submitted and committed to His service.

We are all in His hands of grace and mercy even as Timothy has spoken and prophesied to bear witness, in his day.

2 Timothy 3:10-12 King James Version (KJV) 10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Timothy is telling us that we all will enter like suffering in Christ in these last days as things wax worse and worse. All who choose to live godly in Christ following His Word shall suffer persecution; but we will be delivered out of all as we stand in His true righteousness and not bend to self-will.

2 Timothy 3:13 King James Version 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Perilous Times

The word wax means things will intensify; get stronger in the spirit of evilness. The word wax is used as a metaphor for how the mind is covered over like a veil in deception as people are being deceived. They will be deceived thinking they know what they are doing; but they do not know they are being used by Satan locked under a spell of sin and self-will nature in these last days of affliction.

Satan launches his hardest and most deceived souls against God's people who really are true to His name and refuses to be moved from His true wisdom in His Word of promise.

We are all under forgiven grace in this age, so we must pray harder than ever before for those who are being deceived and corrupted and misused and abused by Satan. Our loved ones will be used if they are not following Christ; pray for them to not fall under the spell of deception through self-will as Satan tries to draw them away from truth.

If they are rebellious and uncaring; we must help them to share in the love of God by not criticizing. We must just stand and show them true love with patience and caring about their wellbeing in Christ by speaking the good that Christ has spoken and done for all of us. Knowing within our heart, that only Christ can give them a will to live in Him. We don't want them following the pattern of the world influence, so we must stand in God's love greater than ever before having our soul anchored down in him as we stand committed and submitted.

Evil men and seducers; those who are always trying to deceive such as Satan does all the time; will wax worse and worse. But Christ warns us to continue in the things we have learned and been assured of in Him.

2 Timothy 3:14 King James Version 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

Continue to do the things you have learned to do in Christ as you stand in the assurance of His promises. You know what you have learned in Christ; so, we must not be moved to any other place other than what shows His love and understanding of the afflictions of this world before we leave.

In the song "On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand," God wants us to be firmly seated in His presence and committed to His way of Righteousness and Truth. This song is a reminder that summarizes our rightful place in Christ as we stand on His authority over the enemy.

"On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand," is an inspiration to all who are living and will be living in the last days before Christ returns. It is a battle cry for making a stand against

the unrighteousness of Satan manipulating lives around this world as he tries your soul. This song is to be sung by every creature great and small who desires to be delivered from the great spell of darkness cast by Satan over their soul through deception. It is to be sung by every believer who keeps his trust in "The Almighty God." This song shows you are making a stand against the enemy (Satan); who is working to keep your soul ensnared. Every nation around the world should learn the words to this song to be encouraged as things wax worse and worse. It is for every creature great and small to utter the words of a steadfast spirit anchored down in Christ. It does not matter what kind of life you have lived; God wants all souls who are willing to give up the world to enter into His presence willingly and be blessed with eternal life forever. In Him is a place of rest and peace such as we have never experienced in this life. 2 Peter 1:8-10 King James Version (KJV) 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We follow by doing; which means living this Word of truth created for us by the Living God and Father to all; to deliver us out of evil into a righteous place of certainty in His Kingdom in Him. Now unto Him who is the power to deliver us out of all our affliction and bring us to His marvelous light; we give honor, glory, and praise for this day of His mercy toward us. Amen

Perilous Times

Father God, Thank you for your will to cause us to live and not die in our affliction. Thank you for always revealing and sharing with us in your marvelous light your Word of truth that will deliver those who respect and honor your presence in their life. As you give us this day, our daily bread; let us be attentive to the truths of your kingdom that will deliver us out of all evil as we pray in the name of Jesus for deliverance and salvation. I surrender my heart unto you this day and ask for your guiding care each and every day from this day forward i n the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
