TRUMPF Inc. (TRUMPF) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the TRUMPF Group. Dedicated to serving the manufacturing needs of the American, Canadian and Mexican markets, TRUMPF is currently the largest manufacturer of fabricating equipment and industrial lasers in North America. It was founded as TRUMPF America Inc. in 1969.

Manufacturing in North America

To help train the workforce of tomorrow, TRUMPF has donated high-tech equipment to educational institutions, awarded scholarships and internships to future engineering students, and contributed to student projects. These partnerships include: American Institute for Contemporary German Studies, Center for Next Generation Manufacturing, Central Connecticut State University, Connecticut Business & Industry Association, Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Manchester Community College, Naugatuck Valley Community College, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Tunxis Community College, Three Rivers Community College, and the University of Connecticut School of Engineering. TRUMPF frequently welcomes local vocational schools and high schools to visit the production facilities and learn about laser technologies.

In addition, TRUMPF has business and industry affiliations through board participation in the National Association of Manufacturers, Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, the Connecticut Business & Industry Association and the German American Chamber of Commerce.
