JUNIOR MEMBERSHIPJunior Membership is open to all children (step children, foster children and grand children) of current members. Requirements to become a Junior Member:You must be at least 12 years of age.You must be sponsored by your member parent, grandparent, or legal guardian.You must fill out the Junior Membership application and have it and the waiver signed by your parent or legal guardian. You must pay the annual membership fee of $25.00Rules: IndoorYou must attend and complete a basic firearms familiarization and safety training class before being allowed to shoot without direct supervision as stated in the indoor range general rule #4, which reads:Youth through age 11 entering the range, must be accompanied by, and directly supervised, one-on-one (within arm’s reach) by a non-shooting adult. Shooters ages 12 thru 17 must be accompanied by, and can shoot simultaneously with an adult, provided, they have passed and can present a hunter safety permit, OR, can demonstrate to a club safety officer they have a basic knowledge of the safety rules and safe firearms handling and have a pass from the board, OR, is a Junior Member that has passed their training requirements. This training will be provided at no cost. Once completed, your membership card will be signed so you can shoot without direct supervision.You must adhere to all current indoor range rules.Rules: OutdoorTrap – Shotgun and trap range familiarization and safety training, or completed hunter safety course certificate, is required before use of trap range is allowed.Archery – Basic archery and archery range familiarization training required before use of the archery range is allowed.You must adhere to all current outdoor range rules.General RulesPer our corporate bylaws: You will not be allowed to bring guests; you will have no corporate member voting rights; you will not have any individual access rights.You must be accompanied at either range at all times. Membership benefits:You will be able to establish your own Junior Members board. An adult member will be appointed as supervisor.When you turn 18 you will automatically become an adult member upon completion of an orientation and your membership fee is waived until the following annual meeting.All club sponsored youth events will be free to Junior Members. (this does not include any cost for ammunition or required materials at shooting events)Junior members may sign up to attend (on an audit basis) any training class free of charge unless there is a fee for materials which must be paid. This benefit will be based on space available.Junior members will be able to use club firearms. They must be checked out by their member parent or legal guardian for them to use for practice. This will be done through the club Armorer or the Junior Membership adult supervisor. ................
