7. Awards: There will be one Open Winner for each match. There will be one award for each 5 competitors. If less than 5 competitors in a class those competitors will be combined with the next higher class. If less than 5 competitors in the High Master class they will compete for open awards only. The STATE CHAMPION must be a Connecticut resident. If a non resident wins the match he will be declared the Match Winner and the Connecticut resident with the highest score will be the State Champion.
General Information:
Direction to Range: The Metropolitan Shooters Inc. (MSI) Range is located at the Manchester Recreation Center at 281 Garden Grove Rd, Manchester, CT. From I-384 take the Keeney St. exit. Proceed south on Keeney St., take your 5th left onto Garden Grove Rd. The range is located at the top of the hill. Ample parking, food is available from the kitchen. Range phone number is (860) 643-2366.
NRA Rules will govern throughout all matches.
Firearms: Any .177 caliber air pistol NRA International Air Pistol Rules 3.1 and 3.7 apply. Triggers may be weighed and will be weighed if National Records are broken. Minimum tigger weight is 500grams.
Stat Office: The Stat Office will open for registration one hour before shooting starts.
Classification: The NRA classification system will be used in all matches. Unclassified shooters will fire in the Master class. Classification cards will be checked. Assigned classifications may be used (NRA Rule 19.6).
Scoring will be done by match personnel. The Match Director or Referee may only use plug type scoring gauges.
Post entries will be accepted if space is available.
Challenges: A $2.00 fee will be charged for each challenge. If the challenge is upheld, the $2.00 will be refunded. Challenge time ends 1 hour after scores are posted.
Cancellations: If you reserve a spot and can't make it please let us know so we can fill your spot.
Squading: All matches will be squaded and firing points will be randomly assigned by the Statistical Office.
