Oklahoma City Public Schools Selects Infinite Campus, a ¡°Mind-blowing¡± Student

Information System (SIS)

August 27, 2014 ¨C Blaine, Minn. ¨C Oklahoma¡¯s largest school district will serve students more efficiently

following its selection of Infinite Campus, a state-preferred vendor with a decade of WAVE reporting

experience. Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS) is upgrading from an old, text-based system and is

impressed with the many features and tools in the modern, Web-based Infinite Campus District Edition.

¡°From its look and feel to the reporting capabilities and all the core functionality available in the system,

it¡¯s just mind-blowing what we¡¯re getting with Infinite Campus,¡± says Eric Hileman, Executive Director,

Since Infinite Campus is entirely Web-based, educators, parents and students can access information

from anywhere at any time. In addition, Campus serves as a district-wide transactional data warehouse,

allowing student data to be entered once and used across the district in real time to support data-driven

decision making.

Sean Forster, Infinite Campus Senior Sales Manager, says that OKCPS will benefit greatly from a modern

According to Hileman, OKCPS liked what it heard from Infinite Campus about its three, very secure

hosting options and was even more impressed with what other districts said about Infinite Campus.

customers,¡± says Hileman. ¡°That fact contributed to our selection of Infinite Campus.¡±

OKCPS is scheduled for a go-live date of July 2015. Keeping pace with technology and everchanging educational requirements will not be a challenge for OKCPS. Infinite Campus has 200 inhouse developers dedicated to new product development and/or enhancements, which are released

monthly to customers at no additional cost.
