Community Freedom Ministry
"I came in to the appt. feeling quite free and fully loved and forgiven by Jesus Christ. I knew there were a few areas that needed to be renounced and let go of! I now feel I can do this and feel free because of what Jesus has done and because of who He says I am in Him. Praise His Holy and Powerful Name!" - a personal testimony from a ministry recipient in May.
We praise God four lives touched and transformed in June. And ask you to join us in prayer for the freedom appointment scheduled for July and for the several people who are currently inquiring about freedom appointments. May God's word of truth and their faith, even if as small as a mustard seed, be their weapons in their spiritual battles.
Praise be to Jesus Christ, the Victor and Bondage Breaker!
CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sunday School and Higher Ground
We are still in need of a few more volunteers for the upcoming year. You can choose to teach a class by yourself, share a class, or sign up just for electives (6 weeks starting January) for grades 6-12. We also need substitutes and someone to help with our Bible Memory program.
Please contact Lindsey Heuker if you're interested (lheuker@ or 901-6511).
Will you be the ONE?
Our Kids Hope ministry is in need of several mentors who are willing to be the ONE for a student at Park Elementary. Can you commit to spending ONE hour a week with a student for ONE year?
Times are flexible during the school day (9-3:30) and the teachers are willing to work with your schedule. Don't make excuses! Kids Hope accepts any mentors who are 16 or older. We also need more men to be great role models for the kids.
We will be having a mentor training on Tuesday, September 8, from 7-9PM.
If you are interested, or want more information, please contact Evamarie Eggebeen (kidshope@ or 914-5629).

Love INC Opportunities
• Clearinghouse Call Center Volunteers:
Last year, Love INC received over 4,000 calls for assistance from individuals in our community. Be part of the ministry team who stands at the front lines showing the love of Christ by answering these calls and forming relationships with people experiencing brokenness. Training available; 9:00-1:30 any weekday.
• Outback Shop Volunteers: There is an opportunity for you to volunteer at our Outback Resale Shop on Saturdays! Open from 10am-3pm. Show the love of Christ to customers who shop our store and help load/unload trailers, rearrange and repair furniture items, and more - all while enjoying fun and fellowship with other Christian volunteers.
• Life Skills Program:
Our team of mentors is growing! We are excited to continue offering the opportunity for individuals in our area to be connected to families seeking support in Jenison, Hudsonville & Grandville. Life Skills offers a structured, supportive environment where you can show the love of Christ to someone motivated to change! If you want the opportunity to share your faith and journey with someone new, this is a great opportunity.
Please call Kaitlin at 662.3300 x127 or kaitlinv@ for more information on these opportunities or to request a tour of all ministry areas at Love INC.
