Page |1 Installing and Configuring Citrix Receiver Client for Access to the Engineering Remote Lab

Applications If you have not done so already, download the latest version of the Citrix Receiver client software from the following link: . Once the Citrix Receiver client executable has finished downloading, double click on it and use the below listed steps to install the software.

1. After you double click the Citrix Receiver client executable, the installation welcome screen will appear. Click Start.

2. Check the checkbox to accept the license agreement and click Next.

3. Do not enable single sign-on. Click Next.

4. Select the "No, Thanks" radio button. Click Install. 5. The installation screen will show up, identified by a green progress bar.

Page |3 6. Once the installation is completed you will see a confirmation window such as the one depicted

in the image below. Click Finish.

7. On your desktop, go to your system tray and find the Citrix Receiver icon by clicking the small up arrow. Double click the Citrix Receiver icon to launch the Citrix Receiver client configuration.

8. The Citrix Receiver Add Account window will appear. Enter your TTU e-mail address in the empty text field. Click the Add button once you are done.

Page |4 9. A security window will appear. Enter your e-Raider username and password in the security

fields. Use the image below as an example. For security reasons, do not select to remember your password. Once you are finished, click the Log On button.

10. You will be prompted once more to enter your TTU e-Raider credentials. Enter your credentials and click the Log On button, when finished.

11. After logging into the Citrix Receiver client, you will be greeted with a screen as the one depicted in the image below. This is the screen where your added apps will show up.

12. Take note of your name which should be visible in the upper part of the window. If you see your name, that means that you have successfully logged into the Citrix Receiver client.

13. To start adding your apps, click the white plus sign, located on the left side of the window.

Page |5 14. A dark and translucent pop-out bar will appear. Click the All Applications link, and you will see a

list of applications that are available to you through the Engineering Remote Lab.

15. Click on the application(s) in the list to add them to the main Citrix Receiver screen. Added applications will have a green check mark placed next to their name, and they will appear on the main Citrix Receiver screen as depicted in the two images below:
