We are experiencing tremendous growth and are currently seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our Human Resources Department in our Reading, PA office.The Instructional Designer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and measuring instructional and performance improvement materials in various formats and media. A primary focus of this position will be delivering learning programs to transfer knowledge from subject matter experts into a format to promote continued education and knowledge throughout the organization utilizing various learning mediums. The Instructional Designer will deliver high quality training programs and manage all administrative tasks associated with scheduling training sessions.Specific responsibilities will include:Identify detailed training requirements and independently develop all required training, documentation, work instruction and support material. Select and develop learning solutions utilizing appropriate methodologies from instructor lead to self-directed learning which may include traditional training or virtual training delivery, computer based training, reference material, job aids, etc.Deliver training modules such as new hire orientation and other general training topics. Coordinate and organize all administrative tasks associated with scheduling a training session.Conduct root cause analysis for training requests. Serve as an internal consultant to understand business and performance issues, and recommend appropriate learning intervention to drive business results.Design content standards and templates for presentations, facilitator / participant guides, self-studies, on-the-job training activities, e-learning, and job aids to ensure the right mixture of tools, techniques, and resources are utilized depending on content being delivered and audience needs / experience.Collaborate and consult with subject matter experts to ensure instructional integrity of course development projects through a method of systematic design and clear course standards and outcomes.Keep abreast on current and developing trends, developments and innovations in training, technology, and instructional design methodologies and ensure the proper use of adult learning methods are plete special projects as assigned.Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Training and Development, Instructional Design, or a related field with 5 years of experience designing, evaluating, and delivering training programs organization-wide utilizing various mediums and software programs for e-learning creation such as Adobe Captivate, Camtasia Studio, or Articulate. Master’s Degree and / or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance Certification (CPLP) are preferred. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of instructional design principles, concepts, and mediums; the ability to partner with subject matter experts to transfer knowledge on a larger scale; strong written and oral communication skills to include advanced presentation and facilitation skills; and the ability to utilize adult learning principles and apply them to real world training design.As a member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive compensation and benefits package.
