We intend to cover the concepts in the first five chapters of the Integrated Math 2 book. School SuppliesGraph PaperPencilsRed PenGradingA standard grading scale will be used. Grades will not be rounded.Grades will be computed on a weighted point system. Points are earned in the following categories, with the percentage given for each:Assessments 75%There will be four tests prior to the final exam during the course. Each test will consist of 2 parts; Old Material and New Material. Old Material 60%: These assessments will contain concepts learned prior to the current chapter and reviewed through the homework problems. The students will be given the opportunity to drop the lowest of the Old Material test scores at the end of the marking period. New Material 15%: These assessments will contain concepts learned in the current chapter. The students will be given the opportunity to retake any of the New Material assessments at the end of the marking period. Homework 15%Homework will be assigned on a daily basis. Homework will be posted on the teacher’s website along with the worked out solutions. Homework assignments will not be collected or given a grade for completion. There will be a weekly homework quiz covering the previous week’s assignments.Classwork 10%Students are expected to be engaged during class and complete daily lessons. Students will start with 20 points and should finish with 20 points.Students will be deducted points for:Not contributing to group/class.Not completing the daily assignment.Absences/Make-up WorkClasswork/Homework: It is the responsibility of the student to find out what was missed and make up the classwork outside of regular class time. ................
