She is also the Chief Executive Officer for Cutchins Programs for Children and Families in Northampton, MA USA. She has worked with a variety of mental health, forensic, skilled nursing, and educational organizations on a variety of trauma informed care, sensory processing and restraint/seclusion reduction projects in order to help organizations develop more nurturing and healing cultures of care. She is a researcher and is widely published. Her main text is published by Pearson Australia: Sensory Modulation & Environment: Essential Elements of Occupation.
