Updating Internet Explorer to Version 11

1. Check your version of Internet Explorer (IE): Click Help on the top toolbar > click About Internet Explorer. The pop up window will show the version of the browser in use.

2. To update your browser version, go to the Microsoft Download Center and select Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7: 3. HISD computers currently run Windows 7. It is important to select the update appropriate for your operating system.

4. Start the installation: Click > Run this program from its current location. 5. Select Yes when asked if you would like this program to make changes to your computer.
