Individuals who have passed Dantes Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) may receive credit. It is the student’s responsibility to have examination scores sent to the Registrar (Records and Registration Office). Credit will be designated with a “T” (test credit) on the student’s transcript. DSST credit awarded by other accredited institutions and transferred to Rock Valley College will be evaluated and accepted per the existing transcript evaluation policy. If a student has received credit for any courses by having been enrolled in those courses, the grade will stand and the credit by examination will not be given.
