A Mile in Her CareerIntroduction (Meet Alexa)Today we’re going to talk about Alexa, a Registry participant working in ECE. Throughout this presentation, we are going to follow Alexa over the course of her career. We’ll see a range of different scenarios Alexa experiences and talk about ways she can use the Registry to navigate each one.For each scenario we see, I’ll be asking you for these answers: I’ll ask you all to contribute by volunteering different ways she can use the Registry to navigate these situations. Therefore, you’ll have to use your knowledge of the Registry and its tools to make your way through these scenarios. There are no right or wrong answers and I’ll help you out if you get stuck.Additionally, I’d like us to challenge ourselves a little bit and think about other resources Alexa can use alongside the Registry. The Registry is just one of many tools you can use to stoke your career growth. Think about how we can combine the Registry with other tools like QRIS, Stipend Programs, CCIP, CPIN, R&R agencies, CCL, etc. Be creative in your answers! Think to yourself, “How would I use my Registry profile to navigate this scenario?”This activity is designed to help us think of the Registry in the grander scheme of things. This will helps us see how the Registry fits into the ECE landscape and our professional plans. Let’s build connections between the Registry and other sources of professional support.Disclaimer: this is just one of many different career paths someone in ECE might take: we all different paths and journeys. This diversity of experience is one of the many things that make it so rewarding to work in ECE.Hopefully you’ll still see a little bit of yourself in this presentationStarting OutTraining Calendar:Alexa doesn’t have much training on paper.
