ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION:

In this 5 paragraph essay, you will demonstrate your ability to develop an argument for a specific issue and defend that argument using specific evidence to support it.

WRITING PROMPT:

Was the decision by the United States to drop the atomic bomb on the cities of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki justified? In your writing you must pick a side for or against dropping the atomic bombs.

Your essay will have in introduction paragraph, three body paragraphs, and a concluding paragraph.
