In addition to the IAI courses listed above, students need to complete additional Mennonite College of Nursing prerequisite courses that are not currently a part of the IAI program.

These Illinois Central College courses include:

*BIOL 210-Microbiology, *BIOL 146- PR Human Anatomy & Physiolo, *FCS 110- Basic Nutrition or

*FCS 120-Prins of Nutrition

The following MCN prerequisite (PSY 213 Life Span Development) is NOT offered by ICC, through a single course. However, students can fulfill this Mennonite prerequisite requirement and one Social Science IAI requirement by completing the following two courses: *PSY 202 Child & Adolescent Development and

PSY 220 The Aging Process.

MCN also requires additional prerequisite courses that are not currently offered at ICC:

*Medical Terminology (which must transfer into ISU as HSC 105-Medical Terminology)

Students are also encouraged to complete a course that transfers into Illinois State as a global studies course

(see ISU catalogue for course description).

Students are expected to work closely with their Illinois Central College advisor to ensure that they are meeting all required coursework. It is ultimately the responsibility of the student to complete all coursework necessary for admission. Also, students need to check the website frequently as there are periodic changes in the courses that become designated as IAI courses.

“This worksheet applies to courses completed Summer 2011, Fall 2011, Spring 2012 and Summer 2012.”

*Designates a Mennonite College of Nursing prerequisite course-student must get a “C” or better in course
