WARNING:

Clients have been receiving threatening phone calls supposedly from the Internal Revenue Service.  These calls are scams – They claim you owe IRS money and threaten immediate arrest, court, seizures of bank accounts or houses unless you pay.  They may leave a message asking you to call Heather Gray at 202-506-9840 or Eric Parker at 713-581-2301.  Do not engage the caller in any conversation and do not give out any personal information.  The IRS will not call and threaten you as these callers are doing.  The IRS does not use email to contact taxpayers.  They always mail notices through US Postal Service, not email or phone.

Therefore, hang up on these scam call as soon as you can, and do NOT reveal any personal information.
