The class will be divided into groups. Each group will be assigned a Jewish Holiday. The holiday must be researched and presented on an information sheet

A. What is the name, when is it celebrated, and what is it about?

B. What are the ritualistic or traditional actions?

C. What are the symbols associated with it?

D. What are some words or prayers said or associated with it?

E. Why are they celebrating? What is the historical background Holiday?

F. What food is involved, does the food have a purpose or symbolism?
