References may be inserted and numbered manually, or automatically by using the endnote/footnote function of the word processor. For manual insertion, format the references as follows:

1) Storey, R.F.; Shoemake, K.A.; Chisholm, B.J. J. Polym. Sci.: Part A: Polym. Chem. 1996, 34, 2003.

2) Storey, R.F.; Chisholm, B.J.; Brister, L.B. Macromolecules 1995, 28, 4055.

For automatic reference numbering using the endnote/footnote function, the section heading “References” is not necessary; it will appear automatically as the endnote separator. To properly format each endnote, manually remove (Delete) the space immediately following the endnote reference number (in the endnote section, not the preprint body). Then select the reference number and remove superscript formatting (Ctrl+Shift+=). Next, enclose the number in parentheses. Enter a tab, and then type the endnote text using the format shown above. Do not insert a blank line between endnotes.

NOTE: Extended Abstract length is limited to one page, two columns.
