Chapel Hill, NC (DATE 20XX) - The American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) is pleased to announce that <physician name, MD,> has passed the board’s General Pediatrics Certifying Examination and is now a Board Certified Pediatrician. To be eligible to take the exam, a person must have graduated from medical school and satisfactorily completed three years of training in an accredited pediatric residency program. Board certification signifies that pediatricians have gone above and beyond the licensing requirements to practice medicine.
