You will be asked your name and if your information leads to an arrest, you will be paid a cash award!The ring that was lost has been found. Thank you to all your help in looking for this.REMEMBRANCE DAY ASSEMBLYWe will be having a Remembrance Day Service today. Students will be called to the gym during second period and will be escorted by their period 2 teacher please. When the assembly is over, students will return to their period 2 classes to collect their books and then move to their period 3 class for the last few minutes until lunch hour. We would ask teachers to please review appropriate assembly behavior with students prior to the assemblyThose students representing classes and laying poppies, and those reading during the ceremony will be called to the library during second period. Those students who have uniforms today could they please come to the Resource Room Now.A reminder to student’s school will be closed tomorrow due to Remembrance Day._____________________________________________________________________________BOOK FAIRThis week is our Scholastic Book Fair that will be held in the Library Wednesday, November 12th to Friday November 14th. You will be visiting the Fair with your classes and your families can also visit during the parent teacher interview times. We have many exciting contests that you can participate in. The first is “Guess how Many Pages” in the stack of books. For 25? you can write your guess on a ballot and the student whose answer is closest to the exact number of pages will win Book Fair money! So place your best guess in the jar next to the stack found in the main hall over the noon hours from now until Thursday.We will also have Book Fair money prizes for Favorite Authors, Favorite Books, Book Reviews and Designing a Book Cover. Thursday will also be a PJ and Favorite Book Day at a cost of $1.00.So every Student who wears theirs PJ’s and tells us their favorite book will also have a chance to win Book Fair money. There are lots of great chances to buy your favorite books at the Book Fair this week. _____________________________________________________________________________GUIDANCEGirls group will meet in Mrs. Clark’s office today at 12:15Don’t forget the “Babysitter Course” is today after school from 3-4 in our school library_____________________________________________________________________________ATHLETIC DEPTAll soccer players – your jerseys need to be handed in to Mrs. Throop ASAP.The gym will be opened at lunch time for the badminton team only today through to WednesdayThe Varsity Girls Basketball team will be practice this evening from 7:30 – 9 followed by a parent meeting. Ensure you have one parent attending the meeting.JV Girls tryouts will begin next week on the 17th. Stay tuned for time.Varsity Boys tryouts will begin on Wednesday from 3:15 – 4:30.
