|Business Information resources : |

|UCD Library system provides access to a significant range of Business related |

|databases, to a comprehensive collection of printed books and journals |

|relating to Business, and to a dedicated Postgraduate Business Library at |

|Blackrock Campus. Besides Business studies students these sources are of interest to and |

|regularly used by students of many other disciplines. The presentation will |

|illustrate the depth of the resources and will provide practical information |

|as to how to access and use business related information resources. |

|Finding evidence-based health and medical information |

|This workshop will concentrate on sources of evidence-based health and medical information |

|including Cochrane and PubMed. It will place emphasis on understanding different types of |

|evidence-based medical information and their reliability and how to |

|identify and locate useful and relevant sources. |

|This workshop will explore the wide range of material contained within these collections to support research across the disciplines. |
