The object of the games is to perform as many laps and/or jumping jacks as possible while the hoop spins. When the music begins, the student at the hoop will spin it on its edge and then start doing jumping jacks (or other exercise). The runners at each cone will start running back and forth between cones.When the hoop stops spinning, the spinner yells, "stop," and the runners will meet at the hoop to play I Love Addition.I Love Addition is just like rock, paper, scissors. But instead of saying “Rock, Paper, Scissor,” the players will say, “I love addition.” On the word “addition,” the players can show 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or all 5 fingers. The first player to say the sum of both players’ fingers is the winner.The winner gets to choose if they would like to become the new spinner or continue running.
