As a member of Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority Incorporated it is the responsibility and obligation of each seasoned and new member to protect the brand and image of the sororities name, crest, letters, colors, images, and all signs related to . Once a member of Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority Inc. you represent the organization at all times and when purchasing and/or wearing paraphernalia it is vital to understand that not all merchandise and services are beneficial to the sorority. Within this version of the paraphernalia guidelines is an explanation of the vendor application process and revisions made to the proper wear and appearance.

Appendix I

PROPER WEAR AND APPEARANCE

? Our colors are Purple and Rose Pink. Do not buy items that place our KE symbols on another sorority's/fraternity colors. Do not place our crest, letters, or mascot on any state or government uniforms (this includes authorized and unauthorized versions). Please do not purchase items in fuchsia, hot pink or lavender colors.

? Sorors are NOT allowed to have the following image, the Sorority Shield placed on any items. (Crest enclosed in circle).

? The authorized image to be used is the Crest. (The crest does not have the outer circle, a banner or a scroll).

? The crest/shield should not be altered in any way. No writing or numbers shall be embedded in or on it, below it, or across it, unless authorized by the Paraphernalia Director or as stated or shown on the images for crest usage on garments/banners/logos.

? Do not use our crest/shield in conjunction with any other Sorority / Fraternity / Organization crest/shield.

? The crest/shield may be worn on graduation stoles with Greek letter collegiate honor societies or clubs.

? The crest /shield or letters should not be placed on the sole, underneath any footwear nor on any body part that such as the buttocks or lower private area.

? You are not allowed to rip or deface any KE paraphernalia clothing. ? RIPPED jeans/shorts will not be worn in conjunction with KE paraphernalia. ? Shorts/skirts must extend beyond the longest fingertip with the arms fully extended at the

side when in KE paraphernalia. ? The only writing around the crest on garments such as the front left side of a line jacket,

polo, or blouse should be Kappa Epsilon Psi on the top and Military Sorority, Inc. underneath. The 2011 can also be place underneath Military Sorority, Inc. or placed with the 20- on the right side of the crest and 11- on the left side of the crest as alternate options. You may add your legal first and last name (i.e. Jane Doe or Soror Jane Doe), legal first initial and last name (Soror J. Doe), legal last name (Soror Doe) on the front right side. ? No sorority exclusive or trademarked items, (sorority Greek letters KE combined, the sorority name, sorority crest/shield, call sign wording "KEY-PSI") can be reproduced by an unauthorized vendor. ? All images or designs on any paraphernalia must first be approved by the National Paraphernalia Director and or her representative in her absence. Please verify images before

using them on your items. The Sorority will not be liable for any images found via internet or other source and used on merchandise. No inappropriate content, phrases or images should be used. ? Crossing/Line jackets for must be approved by the National Paraphernalia Director and/or paraphernalia representative in her absence, if delegated to do so. ? Do not purchase or make items with the English letters "KEY" representing the sorority letters. This does not include items purchased from stores that may have the non-Greek words KEY or depiction of an actual KEY, this has no connection to our sorority. KE is a Greek- letter organization so lettering should be in Greek letters. The only writing allowed on the Greek letters is the founding year (2011) and/or the words written on each letter spelled out "Kappa Epsilon Psi". (In the appropriate colors). ? Only Sorors in good standing are authorized to wear the KE Greek letters and paraphernalia. ? Sorors may create GIFTS for special occasions such as birthdays, holidays, or for new initiates (Littles) using Kappa Epsilon Psi trademark items. Items cannot be solicited for sale unless the Soror making the items is an authorized vendor. Any Soror that is found in violation will be fined. ? The ONLY authorized colors for tee shirts: purple, "light" pink, white, black, khaki/tan, grey, and camouflage (light pink, purple, white and grey combo, and green; excludes digital or currently authorized uniform patterns).

? The ONLY authorized colors for polo's, sweaters/cardigan, and blouses are purple, "light" pink, white, black, khaki/tan, and grey.

? The ONLY authorized color for letters are purple, "light" pink; split purple and "light" pink; or camouflage (light pink or purple print only)..

? The ONLY authorized colors for other apparel to include but not limited to fashion style jackets, hoodies, and accessories are the same as colors listed for tee shirts and denim.

? The image of the crest can be placed on the front of a jacket, sweater/cardigan, polo, blouse, boot tongue, paddle, plaques etc. When the crest is displayed on the back of any apparel it must be centered and main focal point of the design.

? When purchasing wood or acrylic/stain glass items; the writing around the crest "should" be the same as displayed on a garment item; alternative option is to use the Greek Letterings KE. Depending on the size of the items you can omit Military Sorority, Inc. underneath the crest.

? The vinyl color to be used is: 2607C purple and 495C pink. ? The spray paint color to be used is: 85025-Valspar Satin Sumptuous Purple; 85020- Valspar

Satin Thistle Field pink; 85051-Valspar METL Gold and 85054-Valspar Primer White (can be purchased from Lowes and Ace) ? The hand paint color to be used is: 7006-24-Valspar Ultra White; CI 215-Valspar Signature Fairytale Pink; CI 128-Valspar Signature Mountain Top and AR 926-Valspar Denver Spring ? The authorized thread colors around the Greek Letters to be used is: purple "light" pink white, or gold ? The thread color that you should be using for embroidery on your jackets, shirts, bag, hats, etc. is Isacord ? Pink: 2155; Purple: 2900; White: 0015; and Gold: 0851 ? Traditional Greek Protocol

These protocols are not all inclusive for Kappa Epsilon Psi, but are used as a guide.

Organization's GREEK LETTERS: Protocol dictates that when lettering vertically (4-inch letters) or horizontally (small letters), the Greek letters of an organization's name should be placed on the RIGHT side of the garment (i.e. jacket, jersey, etc.), as they take precedence over the words, the crest, or any other symbol.

Chapters LETTERS: Protocol dictates that when adding chapter information to the sleeves, the chapter's letters should be placed on the LEFT side of the garment, as they take precedence over the crossing date.

Crossing (Initiation) Dates: Protocol dictates that when adding crossing or initiation information to the sleeves, the date should be placed on the RIGHT side of the garment, as they do not take precedence over the chapter information.

Line Name vs. Line's Name: Protocol dictates that an individual's line name takes precedence over the name of the line, and should be placed above the line's name.

Line Name vs. Line Number: Protocol dictates that an individual's line name takes precedence over his/her line number, and should be placed either above or before the line number.

Appendix II

ORDERING PARAPHERNALIA FROM APPROVED VENDORS 1. All Sorors who are in good standing are able to purchase KE items from

approved vendors.

2. An updated list of authorized vendors to purchase official paraphernalia can be acquired via the Sorority website "Soror Corner", Kappa Epsilon Psi Vendor Facebook page or by contacting your local or national paraphernalia representatives. Paraphernalia can also be purchased from the official sorority store: .

3. Under NO circumstances should any Soror of Kappa Epsilon Psi, solicit orders or purchase from unauthorized vendors. Any Soror found to be in violation will be fined.

4. If you have any reservations regarding an item to be purchased contact your local paraphernalia representative or the national paraphernalia committee for assistance.

5.Sorors that knowingly solicit an unauthorized vendor to purchase or produce paraphernalia will be fined on the first occurrence, 2nd offense will result in that Soror being suspended from the organization for 90 days; 3rd offense the Soror will be suspended 120 days and name submitted to National Leadership for potential revocation of membership.

VENDOR OPPORTUNITY

1. Any Soror that would like to suggest a vendor, can have the potential vendor submit a vendor application. Potential Soror vendors must have been a member of Kappa Epsilon Psi for a minimum of 1 year. Sorors must also produce a letter from the leadership showing that they are in good standing.

2. The Vendor Application Process includes: a. Submitting a completed vendor application b. Submitting photos and/or samples of merchandise c. The committee will review the application and photos/samples d. A letter of Approval / Denial will be sent to the vendor applicant. If approved, at that time the vendor will be requested to pay the required vendor fee and sign/complete a vendor agreement. e. A license will be issued to each approved vendor that has paid the appropriate vendor fee as proof of authorization to solicit sale of paraphernalia using Kappa Epsilon Psi trademarks.

3. Vendor Fees are as follows: $375.00 for third-party vendors, $250.00 for Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity members and $200.00 for Sorors.
