Employee Timesheet Management System (STARS) Project was developed to maintain and handle online employee timesheets existing at various company locations residing on remote partitions developed using J2EE Architecture – Java Proxies integrated with Cool Gen and Oracle back ends.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in Design , Development and Modelling of synchronous XML Messages, with developed

XML parser to parse XML message and to convert it into message specific request object , to handle any exceptions generated during parsing and developed a Enterprise business Object Assembler to assemble the received response Objects from the middleware EJB(Façade) Layer into corresponding XML documents based on message master schema using JAXP, DOM and BES 4.x .

• Involved in Design and Development of N- tiered Mapping Application used for monitoring live status of traffic with static geographical Information using MapInfo-MapXtreme Java 2.x API Swing Java2D, Arc GIS 8.x, JDBC, Java Servlet API and Java Beans on Red Hat Linux 7.0 . GUI Features included Drag and Drop , Rubberbanding , Zooming , Panning of all the geocoded spatial map objects ( Labels , features , Annotations, Layers ) with Navigational menu and reporting .

Description : MYPOL - is Largest Tyre Manufacturing Co in Asia , The Software Division Covers all the various modules of Hurman Resources Management and Inventory Control Management including payroll and time management. The system is currently being used by all Mypol staff all across its branches in the state and proven for its ease of use and all the developed modules are working quite satisfactorily and efficiently to meet Design specifications and end user requirements .

Responsiblities:

• Design and Development of Human Resource Management Module - it includes features for keeping track of Employee details , Work Experience , Project Details , skill set , Education details , provident fund , References ,Family details and delivers this suite of integrated workflow,decision support tools using Oracle 7.1 , Forms 3.0 & Report writer 1.1.

• Developed a computerised solution for organising customer booking for the Tyres & Tubes for Mypol Sales dept. This project replaced the paper-based system with a computerised Booking , invoicing & receipting system. Software used CGI-PERL 5, c++, DELPHI 4.0 and MS ACCESS Database.

• Designed and Implemented Authentication , Employer Access control System using DELPHI 4.0 This project was to have an authentication system for employers logging into system and adding new Employers into main database.This was to set up a system administration functionality to provide access to the Already existing application to valid employers only .And security check was carefully done with encryption and decrypting techniques. Was responsible for design of Database (E-R Diagram) , Tuning the design , Installing Oracle Products Creation of Database , Tuning , Backup and other database - related activities . This system was developed using Oracle 7.3 and Developer 2000 and also Participated in Documentation and User Training.

• Design and Development of ICS (Inventory Control System). The system maintained the inventory status, sales orders, purchase orders, sales of each product and customer information . Security of the system was maintained by having privileges and validation was done at all levels, software used was ANSI C & Java and JDK 1.1.x (JDBC Drivers , IDS Server) and ORACLE 7.x.

• Design and Development of Employees search engine, the project involved making a employees database using Micorsoft Access and Application Developed with JDBC and JAVA.All the employee details including employees payment and leave information was stored in the main employees database.Application program consisting of various modules with GUI was written using JDK 1.1.0.

The search engine was built only as a read only with no capability to update existing employee information .Updation was done only at the main database level by Administrative personnel .

Environment : LINUX 6.2, CGI-PERL5.X, WINDOWS NT 4.0, ANSI C, VC++, JAVA 2, JAVASCRIPT, JDBC, DELPHI 4 .0, ORACLE 7.x, VB 6.0, DEVELOPER 2000, PVCS, CGI-PERL, MS-ACCESS, SUN SOLARIS 8.x.

ACADEMICAL PROJECTS:

• Designed and development of University Timetabling System the software used was DELPHI 4.0 with PARADOX. Database consisting of all the details of various subjects, classes, campuses and students was designed and implemented using Paradox.

• Development of Simcore Memory Module and Process Module of operating system using C & UNIX. Process module was built to sort all the incoming processes on FIFO Basis and time stamping techniques was adapted to determine the most and least aged processes.

• Developed a DAL (Data Access Layer) using OCI (ORACLE 7.X) to provide the data for the client in a 3-tier architecture. Involved design changes of database for this Project. The DAL was designed using OOP & OOA techniques and was the middle layer for this 3-tier project, which provided Data security & Integrity to the ORACLE Database.

• Design and Development of payroll management system using SQL , required in-depth knowledge of the theory of RDBMS , object oriented dB and Database adminstration.

• Design and Development of Volunteer database for Red-Cross QLD Australia. This project involved the development of a database for Red-Cross using Case Tools (LBMNS) .The database was implemented using access and the front-end tool was Visual Basic 5.0.
