PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Chicago Technology Partners Inc. – Developer/Architect, 2002 to Present
• Assisted in the architecture and development of a web based financial charting project, headed the architecture effort of a JSP Custom Tag Library and Struts framework integration
• Designed and developed Java Web Start application dedicated to supporting the Agile development methodology as well as providing a GUI interface for CVS, responsible for developing Swing GUI and distributed framework including HTTP Tunneling. Software freely available at
• Worked within XP (Extreme Programming) development environment implementing JUnit automated testing and Ant automated deployment
• Assisted in the development and proposal of a “bullet proofing” approach for a large insurance company’s corporate Intranet
DePaul University –Faculty Member, 2001 to Present
• As a part time faculty member I teach graduate and undergraduate level courses on Java, Enterprise Application Development and Object Oriented Programming as an after work activity
• Hired as youngest faculty member at DePaul University
• Current student evaluation ranked 7th best out of 231 faculty members

AMS Corporation – Object Manager, 2001 to 2002
• Supervised team of developers, managed timeline, and enforced coding standards as Object Manager of large scale software development project
• Helped design and create an efficient, secure, and maintainable Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) web architecture optimized for scalability
• Created high performance correspondence engine that interfaced with existing C language procedures through JNI to dynamically create MS-Word documents for mass mailings

• Functioned as Developer during the architect phase (UML) of a large ASP play
• Created Java code from use cases incorporating EJB, Servlets, JDBC, Oracle
• Functioned as Business Analyst and Technical Writer for large pharmaceutical dot-com play in newly formed ‘Health and Wellness’ department

• Founded and served as Project Manager for a company wide internal project to flexibly standardize and automate part of the Scient approach.
