The SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry runtime lets you develop polyglot cloud-native applications and run them on the SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environment.

3 Initial Setup

Learn how to set up SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry runtime.

Prerequisites

? You've set up your global account and subaccount on SAP BTP. For an overview of the required steps, see

Getting Started in the Cloud Foundry Environment.

? You've enabled Cloud Foundry on your subaccount and created a Cloud Foundry org. See Create Orgs Note

For global accounts that use the consumption-based commercial model, Cloud Foundry runtime is also available as part of the free tier model. For more information, see Using Free Service Plans

Enabling the Service

1. Go to SAP BTP cockpit and enter your global account. 2. Choose Entitlements to navigate to the entitlements overview, then choose Subaccount Entitlements to

assign entitlements to a specific subaccount. 3. To add a new entitlement, choose Configure Entitlements. 4. Choose Add Service Plans to get an overview of all service plans available to you. 5. Search for Cloud Foundry Runtime. 6. Check the box next to MEMORY, then choose Add Service Plan at the bottom to add it to your subaccount. 7. Provide the desired amount of memory units to the subaccount, then choose Save to confirm your

changes.

Note ? In global accounts that use the consumption-based commercial model, SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry

Runtime is not listed in the Entitlements pages in the SAP BTP cockpit. A quota limit of 200 GB of Cloud Foundry Runtime memory is assigned by default to every subaccount.

? If you need to increase this limit, report an incident to SAP support on the BC-NEO-CIS component.

This also applies to other services that have a technical quota limit.
