Author: Theray070696 February 14, 2019 30,275 views Mario Mod 2 1.12.2 is a mod very inspired by the original Super Mario Mod by Jimboom7. This mod adds Super Mario-themed blocks and items to a world where some of them have unique functionality. Hint: Mario Maker is used to create blocks that can be used for decoration and some functional items. It also has full support for JEI and CraftTweaker! Pipes can be used for teleportation over long distances and even cross-dimensionally! To create a pipe, place 8 pipe blocks in a 2x2x2 cube, then right-click on the upper-left block of the side you want to open. If done correctly, the texture will improve and you have formed a pipe! To connect two pipes together, you must create a Pipe Link. Once you have it, right click on one pipe, then another. The pipe is now connected! Note, if the top of the pipe is the opening, you have to sneak in to trigger the teleport (the mass and other entities do not need to sneak). Question Mark blocks lay eggs randomly in the world and store items that can help you on your way. Jump to their bottom to get the stuff out! Note Blocks lay eggs in soils around the world. Jump up to bounce into the air! If you land on the Note Block several times, it will send you higher into the air each time! Castles also lay eggs all over the world. They are currently just looking, but they will have a goal in the future. All enemies are now dropping coins! Only normal coins are used today, but other coins (green, blue, red, wither, dragon) will have future uses. Coins can be made by placing Gold Ingots into Mario Maker and can be made into nuggets if you don't need that many coins. Note that you will lose a little Gold doing this (one Ingot gives 2 Coins, one Coin gives one Nugget). This is to help limit how much Gold you can earn with Coins dropped by the masses. Coins can be clicked right to save them to the Coins counter (shown at the bottom right of the screen). You can earn coins back using Mario Maker. In the Open Run window from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run. In the mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Open then Library in the top menu bar. Open the App Support folder and search for Minecraft. Place the mod you just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder. When you launch Minecraft and button mods you should now see the mod installed. Brick Blocks / Underground Brick Blocks: Blocks that can be broken down from below or dropped coins. If editor mode is on, you can right-click the block to hold the item and it will release it after the player hits the block from below. You can also rightclick with your bare hands to set blocks to break up blows. Castle Blocks: A set of 8 blocks that creates a castle at the end of the level. Flag Pole: How to end the level of the game. Decorative Blocks: Aesthetic platform blocks. Warp Pipe Blocks: A set of 3 blocks that create pipes used to spew out items, enemies, or teleportation purposes. To set the teleportation location, see Wren keys located in Items. You can also right-click the pipeline to set the teleportation location using the new GUI. If the teleportation location is not set, you will not be able to enter the warp pipe during the shift. Hill Block: A set of 6 blocks that create a hill in the background. Bush Block: A set of 3 blocks that create a bush in the background. Cloud Block: A set of 6 blocks that create a cloud in the background. Sky/Darkness: Blocks used as level backgrounds. Ground/ Underground Blocks: Blocks used as level floors. Beanstalk: A set of two blocks that players can climb by running into it. Item: All textures of the item in the frame are reversed. From left to right: Coins, Hills, Clouds, Flags, Mushrooms, Sparks, Notes (Overworld, Underworld, Underwater) New Items: Bush, Warp Pipe, Castle, Record (Castle) Coin: Items that give points to players that are usually found in question blocks and brick blocks. Hill: Items that spawn hills (swipe right click to change large to small). Cloud: Items that spawn clouds (swipe right-click to change length). Bush: Items that spawn a bush (swipe right-click to change its length). Castle: Items spawning the final-level castle (swipe right-click to resize). Warp Pipe: The item that lays eggs in the warp pipe (slide the right click to change the height). Flag: The item that spawns the int flagpole. Mushrooms: Items that allow players to level up. 1-Up Mushroom: An item that allows players to get extra life. Fire Flower: An item that allows players to level up and shoot fireballs. Recording: A set of items that play piano music from the songs in Super Mario Brothers. Currently in this game are Overworld theme, Underground theme, Underwater theme, Castle theme, and Mushroom FX. Wrending: A developer tool used to set the location of warp pipe teleportation. To use, right-click the block to save the teleportation location coordinates. Then duplicate the items so you have four of them. Finally right click four blocks down the warp pipe each with one of the wrenches. Note: You will lay eggs in the middle of four blocks. You have to clear the four-block area if you want to teleport to that location. Otherwise, you'll end up back in the pipe. Stylus: A developer tool that lets players enter editor mode. When in editor mode, players will get all the block information and items in this mod. Will players also be able to set the location of the warp pipe and fill? Brick Blocks. If disabled, players won't be able to edit anything until it's turned on again. Entity: Mushrooms: Entities that lay eggs and move left to right before falling off the map or despawns. When touched, it will allow the player to level up. It's out of the question block. Until now, Mushrooms healed players 5 full hearts. 1-Up Mushroom: Similar to a mushroom, it moves left to right before falling off the map or despawning. When touched, it will allow the player to get one extra life. It's out of the question block. Until now, Mushroom 1-Up healed players 10 full hearts. Goomba: With movements similar to mushrooms, Goomba will automatically kill players when running inside. If the player manages to land at the very top of the collision box, Goomba will be automatically killed, and the player will bounce off it. Sparks: Flowers found in? Blocks and Brick Blocks. When collected, it will give the player a Fire Flower item that will allow the player to shoot fireballs when implemented. Creative Tab: Main Menu: From now on, the main menu is hidden from the actual game. This can be accessed through the use of holding down the S button before transitioning the screen to the original main menu screen.
