PROFESSIONAL PROFILE: I have had a long and varied career as a health care professional.  From the beginning as a radiologic technologist, I have risen to the position of Administrative Director of Medical Imaging.  I have been a strong presence in the field of Radiography, being involved in management; administration; quality control; and have been pivotal in achieving ACR and MQSA accreditation for various radiology departments. It was this strong foundation and the patient care skills that I learned in radiology that became the springboard to a 30 year Radiologic career and a 26-year ultrasound career.

I have been the director of two successful Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs, both of which earned CAAHEP accreditation.

In addition to my work in radiology and ultrasound, I simultaneously pursued education in related career areas, earning the following degrees:  BA in Environmental Sciences; MPA in Public Administration-Health Care concentration; PhD in Health Care Administration.

I believe in giving back to the medical community and have served as a working member of the following organizations: JRC-DMS; SDMS; ASRT; NJSRT; and AIUM.  In addition, I have received Honors from Phi Alpha Alpha National Honor society for Public Administration.

I served as Director of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program I originated 11 + years ago, at the JFK Health System - Muhlenberg Snyder Schools, in Plainfield, New Jersey.

Currently, I am developing a Diagnostic Medical Sonography (General and Vascular concentrations) at Eastern Florida State College.

No matter where various jobs and accomplishments have taken me, I have repeatedly returned to the field of education. If I had to label myself, it would be a health care professional educator.
