Fellowship Description. Feel free to add as much detail as possible regarding the position.: JFK-SNC VASCULAR NEUROLOGY FELLOWSHIP: The Vascular Neurology Fellowship Program at JFK Medical Center's Stroke and Neurovascular Center is a one-year, ACGME accredited program designed to prepare fellows for an academic career in stroke neurology. This fellowship fulfills a minimum requirement for entering into the Stroke and Neurovascular Center's two-year neurointerventional surgery training program, which can be applied for separately. A four year combined pathways is also available. JFK-SNC NEUROCRITICAL CARE FELLOWSHIP A two-year, UCNS accredited, fellowship in Neurocritical Care is offered by the Stroke and Neurovascular Center at JFK Medical Center. Scholarly productivity is encouraged. In addition to participating in ongoing research, fellows are encouraged to develop their own research projects. JFK-SNC ENDOVASCULAR SURGICAL NEURORADIOLOGY FELLOWSHIP We offer a one-year fellowship in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology at the Stroke and Neurovascular Center with a pre-requite year of diagnostic training capability. It is directed by Neurologist Interventionalist and includes a faculty of three Radiology Interventionalists. It has a very active clinical research program focused on neurovascular diseases. It provides many opportunities for research. JFK-SNC COMBINED PATHWAY Historically the program has been offered as a three year combined program. More recently the program is being offered as a four year combined program where the first year is the vascular Neurology year. The next two years are the Neurocritical Care year and that is followed by the final year of Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology.
