Psalm 27: One Thing

S. Barnard

CCLI Song #7054931 | ? 2015 Songs from the Wellhouse

The Lord is my light and my salvation. In whom shall I fear? Whom shall I fear?

The Lord is my strength, the stronghold of my life. In whom shall I fear? Whom shall I fear?

Pre-Chorus: And You said, "Seek my face." Your face, O God, I seek.

Chorus: One thing I ask, and I will seek: to dwell in the house of the Lord all my days. To gaze upon your beauty, worship at your feet. Oh, one thing I seek. (Repeat all)

Bridge: Holy Fire, Abba Father, My Redeemer, my Delight, Holy, holy, God Almighty, You're the one thing I desire.

*Af rmation of Faith I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was cruci ed, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Jesus, Keep Me Near the Cross

NEAR THE CROSS

CCLI Song #36736 | ? Words and Music Public Domain

Jesus, keep me near the cross, There a precious fountain;

Free to all, a healing stream, Flows from Calv'ry's mountain.

Refrain: In the cross, in the cross Be my glory ever, Till my raptured soul shall nd Rest beyond the river.

Near the cross, a trembling soul, Love and mercy found me;

There the Bright and Morning Star sheds it's beams around me. [Refrain]

Near the cross! I'll watch and wait, Hoping, trusting ever;

Till I reach the golden strand, Just beyond the river. [Refrain]

Prayers of the People and the Lord's Prayer

Rev. Dr. John Hatton

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as

it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who

trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom,

the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
