0105727500Processing Technician - NODThe?Processing Technician at Northwest Ordinance Distillery is responsible for blending, batching, filtering, transferring, calculating inventory tank readings, and preparation of all products to meet the bottling schedule using approved formulas and company specifications. ??Additional responsibilities for the?Processing Technician include, but not limited to:Blending fixes and final approvals prior to bottlingBulk receiving of product and inventory managementDocument blending volumes from the bottling schedule and submits to laboratory for approvalMaintaining safety, quality control and cleanliness of work areaProvide world class customer service by ensuring spirits are delivered to bottling lines to meet daily production within safety, quality and regulatory guidelines.Actively engage in keeping processing department up to the established standards including HACP, SOP’s and company requirementsUnderstand and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures, GMP’s, company procedures and principles, best practices and applicable rules and regulations.Know and understand applicable DOT regulations for bulk shipments/receipts and TTB regulations for processingLoad/unload, blend, batch and apply fixes in a manner consistent with applicable regulationsAccurately generate and maintain all required legal documentation associated with processing activities.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 2 years of relevant experienceAt least 21 years of ageGood vision and manual dexterity Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to communicate with all levels of the organizationphysical Requirements:Ability to operate industrial equipment as requiredAbility to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistanceAbility to work overtime if necessaryAbility to work 12-hour shiftAbility to move about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to anotherIn-person job attendanceVerbally communicate with others to exchange informationAbility to read and writeAbility to multi-taskAbility to work near moving mechanical partsAbility to pay attention to detailNoise level at workstation is loud (metal can manufacture, large earth moving equipment)Ability to work in wet, humid conditions (non-weather)Ability to work with the risk of electrical shockPreferred Qualifications:Minimum 2 years’ experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environmentMinimum 2 years’ experience in alcohol beverage industryKnowledge of beverage processing/batching activitiesAbility to operate industrial equipment as required ................
