TEAM 26 Veterans Jobs and Resources Fair

June 21, 2013- Following a successful jobs fair in Calhoun, Georgia, T.E.A.M. 26 has announced its next event will be held in Columbus, Georgia.

TEAM 26 VETERANS' JOBS & RESOURCES FAIR

8:30 AM ? 2:00 PM July 18, 2013

"The exceptional piece in this initiative is the attention that each veteran receives after the jobs fair," TEAM 26 Project Director Carl McRae. "Following the actual event, we continue to engage the attendees until employment is secured." To date, sixty-six (66) veterans have achieved employment due to the results of the first three job fairs.

Over 60 companies and potential employers will be represented at the event. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the event starting at 10:00 a.m. Pre-conference activities including resume preparation and interview skills training will commence at 9:00 a.m.

The purpose of the event is to match veterans with potential employers and other resources available in Georgia.

The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency initiated a major jobs program designed to serve veterans with disabilities. Total Employment for American Military (TEAM) 26 is a service delivery strategy designed to provide comprehensive rehabilitation to veterans with disabilities leading to gainful employment. TEAM 26 is hosting a series of jobs and resources fairs designed for veterans throughout Georgia.
