VACANCY INVESTIGATOR

The International Cricket Council (`ICC') is the global governing body for the sport, which administers all aspects of international cricket.

We are currently looking for an Investigator within the Integrity team, based at our headquarters in Dubai, UAE. The role will report to the Coordinator Investigations. The primary responsibility of this role is to prevent and disrupt corruption in international cricket by investigating allegations of corruption and analysing, maintaining, and disseminating intelligence.

Principal Accountabilities

Responsibilities of the Investigator include but are not limited to the following:

? Investigate allegations of corruption in cricket; ? Work in close collaboration with the Coordinator Investigations and the Legal department for

investigations; ? Prepare and complete reports for consideration by the Coordinator and General Manager; ? Interview suspects and witnesses as per the laid down standard operating procedures and ensure that

all processes followed are compliant with best practice guidelines; ? Assist with appropriate training of field resources to make them multi-skilled and capable of carrying

out investigations; ? Provide additional support to the Anti-Corruption Manager's during tournaments; ? To use and deploy mobile device download equipment and analyse the results using specialist

platforms; ? Work globally with law enforcement with different legislative frameworks and operating procedures; ? Analyse intelligence data and leads; ? Provide intelligence support on specific issues relating to anti-corruption investigations; and ? To provide support in gathering relevant material and analyse it to assist in decision making on

investigations and for management briefings.

Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Experience

? Previous experience in investigation is essential, experience in sport, would be an advantage; ? Proven ability in managing end to end investigations, with minimum or no supervision; ? Excellent knowledge and understanding of internationally accepted standards of investigations

procedures; ? Sound investigative background with experience of interviewing witnesses and suspects from different

cultural and social background, recognition and preservation of evidence appropriate for scientific examination, and preparation of complex reports; ? Familiarity with the latest investigation techniques and tactics including use of technical assistance; ? Demonstrable experience in researching, collating, analysing and delivering intelligence analysis and written reports; ? Demonstrable experience in providing operational/investigation related information and intelligence analysis including the use of link and flowcharting and other analytical tools; ? Up to date knowledge of techniques available for forensic examination of evidence obtained by mobile device download equipment; ? Experience of handling difficult and possibly unreliable informants; ? Appreciation of the highest ethical standards and integrity; ? Ability to understand and use different intelligence databases. ? An understanding of English Civil law as the basis for its investigations is an advantage.
