Job Title: Field Officer (1 post based in Owensgrove and District 1, Grand Bassa County

Overall: The post holder will provide support to effective Ebola and other disease detection at the community level and provide supervision to the County disease surveillance team to ensure that any case of infectious disease is identified as early as possible. Ensure services are being provided adequately at the service delivery point in the program areas. Implement and deliver the day to day program activities of the EPR program in collaboration with the line manager and relevant stakeholder to achieve desired results.

Essential Requirements: Relevant diploma in medical, health, social work, community development or other relevant discipline; Solid experience in a similar role in the implementation of community based health programming / social community development; ability to coordinate with local communities and government officials to carryout community health based interventions; ability to work as part of a large team; good written and verbal communication skills; good organizational, interpersonal & analytical skills and ability to work under pressure; the ability to ride motorbike is required and speaking Bassa is desirable.
