Try out how to do the thing first at home. Break the procedure into small steps and tell in writing with adult support step by step. Use drawings and labels as well as sentences.Focus on conventions the students have already been introduced to: sounding words out; matching sound to letter, using conventions such as using capitalization for the beginning? word of a sentence and the pronoun I, using sight word lists as a resource for spelling high frequency words.You can find opportunities throughout your day to write about.DLI:?
