WILLOW CREEK WIND PROJECT

OPEN HOUSE MEETING

Infinity Renewables (Infinity) is developing the Willow Creek Wind Project in

Noble and Pawnee Counties to the north of the town of Morrison. The proposed

project is anticipated to have a capacity of several hundred megawatts and

could be developed in one or more phases, with construction beginning as

The Perry 4-H Club began the new year on Aug. 30. At the first meeting officers were elected and activities for the Noble County free fair were discussed.

The 2016-17 officer team is: President Amanda Peterson, Vice President Emily Grimm, Secretary Aubrey McCaul, Reporter Emily Moore, Treasurer Madison Henderson, Club Representative Allison Warren, Game Leader Mason Henderson and Song Leaders Kadi Kienholz and Adisyn Sheets.

Several of the officers attended officer leadership training Sept. 26, to prepare for the upcoming year.

The club participated in National 4-H Week by displaying a window scene representing this year's theme "Home Grown."

The exhibit was displayed at The Shoppe on the Perry square and won reserve champion.

At the October meeting the 4-Hers made 16 appreciation candy baskets for businesses and individuals who have supported the club. Upcoming events include the 4-H food feast on Nov. 14.

The Perry 4-H Club meets the second Tuesday of each month and is open to young people ages 9-19. The next meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the Nazarene church.

Following the meeting there was a scheduled painting activity lead by Holly McHughes for a fee of $10.
