STATUS OF FEDER AL REQUESTS

? The State of Nevada has submitted 4 COVID-19 testing component requests. Nevada has received 1 shipment of COVID-19 testing components (reagent).

? Nevada has 3 pending requests for COVID-19 testing components and has been told by the federal government that these items are on an indefinite backlog.

PPE

(Personal Protective Equipment)

***Test kits acquired by community organizations, hospitals, private labs and entities through purchase or donation cannot be tracked by the State of Nevada.

? Nevada has received the 3rd and final push of PPE from the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS).

? Nevada will distribute PPE based upon the Regional Distribution System and population-based proportion.

***The State of Nevada stockpile inventory of PPE has been distributed to the 3 Local Health Authorities (LHAs) and rural counties on a needs-based and population-based proportion based on the 2018 Census Bureau estimates. As new shipments are delivered from federal agencies, they will continue to be distributed throughout the State.

STATE OF NEVADA COVID -19 UPDATES

[APRIL 1, 2020] Gov. Sisolak issued Emergency Directive 012 which authorizes the Nevada Adjutant General, to order into active duty National Guard personnel he deems necessary to assist the state's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Major General Ondra Berry will oversee the organization of the State's response efforts in conjunction with the Division of Emergency Management and the Department of Health and Human Services. [APRIL 1, 2020] Gov. Sisolak issued Emergency Directive 011, which waives licensing provisions for medical professionals who are currently in good standing in other states, providers of medical services whose licenses currently stand suspended for licensing fee delinquencies, or failure to meet the continuing medical education requirements. [MARCH 31, 2020] Gov. Sisolak issued Emergency Directive 010, which extends the Declaration of Emergency to April 30, 2020 and orders Nevadans to stay in their residences, unless designated an essential worker.

[APRIL 1, 2020] As the COVID19 pandemic continues to impact our health care systems, both nationally and right here in Nevada, it has become increasingly important to slow the spread. In response to this, the State's medical experts have weighed in to provide everyone with information on how to both protect ourselves and others with improvised masks.
