Your doctor would like you to undergo testing for COVID-19 and has 2 placed an order. Within 24-48 hours, you will receive a call from a coordinator, who will schedule an appointment for you. We would like you to come to a Johns Hopkins Facility-community collection site (NOT the Emergency Department) for this non-emergency testing. Testing requires an appointment. Please do not come to the hospital or testing facility without the appointment. Do NOT use public transportation or rideshare. Please 3 bring a government issued photo ID.

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Community Collection Site

Please come to the drive-through testing site at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, located at 601 N. Caroline Street, Baltimore, MD 21287. 4 This is in the Caroline Visitors Garage. This Testing site does allow scheduled patients to walk into the garage testing location when necessary.

Follow the below directions for testing at the Johns Hopkins Hospi-

tal:

1. From Caroline Street, turn east onto McElderry Street.

2. You will see parking garages on either side but do not enter them.

3. Go past the entrances and turn right to go around the McElderry

Circle

4. You will see a security officer wearing a green vest at the end of the6

circle.

5. The security officer will ask you to confirm your name and

appointment time.

6. The security officer will direct you to enter the garage.

7. Pull a parking ticket and follow the signs to the testing location. 7 8. While still in your vehicle, swabs will be collected by our staff.

9. We will provide you with follow up care instructions and

expectations about results.

10. Please do not enter any of the hospital buildings during your visit.

11. Please respect patient and staff privacy. Taking photos/videos is not

permitted.
