WHAT IS THE PHD CAREER FAIR?

The 2016 Biomedical PhD Career Fair is an opportunity for employers to talk with potential hires about positions in their organizations, and connect with postdoctoral fellows and biomedical PhD students from Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions (JHMI) and the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM). This is the only Hopkins/ University of Maryland career fair that focuses specifically on PhD students and postdocs, and caters to the needs of employers wishing to hire these advanced degree candidates.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

This career fair has a broad focus across the life sciences, and attracts employers from a diverse range of fields, including the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, consultants, science writing and publishing organizations, patent law/IP firms, and government and non-profits, among others. JHMI and UMSOM PhD students and postdocs are eager to make a connection with employers interested in their wide range of technical and transferable skills. Take this opportunity to join us here at Hopkins, and you can be confident that you will find the high caliber of students and postdocs that you are looking for.
