Your photo should be a headshot only, you may use a Passport photo. You are only allowed to upload a photo once. If you are unable to upload a photo you may email the photo to carey.jcard@jhu.edu . Please include your full legal name, your campus, and your Johns Hopkins ID. Once your J Card is ready we will email you with pickup instructions. To obtain a J-Card a valid government issued photo ID is required and you must pick it up from one of our centers in person. You may also apply for a J Card in person and have your photo taken at the front desk. There is a $20 fee payable by check or credit card only to obtain a replacement J Card. Online Students Only- Due to security reasons we cannot mail J cards with personal photos to your home address. If you request a J card to be mailed, it will be a generic photo J card. ? In addition, you may add funds to your Jcard for printing and copying. Your JCash account can be managed through online at:. PHIL machines can also be used to add funds to J Cards and are located near the vending machines. For any issues with printer, copier, or PHIL machines please see an IT representative.GROUP STUDY ROOMS Located at 1717 Massachusetts Ave, DC Learning Commons:To make a reservation, access the link below and sign in with your JHED ID and password, and click on “Reservations” on the top menu. Once the preferred location is selected, click in a time block that is aligned with an available room. Start and end time as well as the date can be adjusted on the next page. Put title of reservation and click create. Reservation cannot last longer than 3 hours or have a date more than 7 days in advance. LOCKERS Lockers are available on a first come first serve basis and may be assigned either at 1625 Massachusetts Ave or 1717 Massachusetts Ave. Please visit the front desk to complete an application to use a locker for the academic year. Students are encouraged to share lockers with a fellow student. An email notification will be sent via email once application has been processed. Please be sure to use the combination lock supplied by the Operations department. Other locks are not permitted. Please note Carey Business School Administration reserves the right to search lockers at any time. LOST AND FOUNDA centralized Lost and Found for all Johns Hopkins buildings in Washington, D.C. is located in the Security Command center on the 8th floor of the Bernstein-Offit Building?(1717 Massachusetts Avenue). All lost items from the DC Center are taken to this location by security personnel where they are logged and stored. ?Items can be claimed at this location. Please be sure to bring a photo ID to claim your item. After 45 days all Lost and Found items are donated to charity. FOOD AND DRINKSnack and beverage vending machines are available in the student lounge area of 1625 Massachusetts Ave NW as well as in the Learning Commons on the 3rd floor of 1717 Massachusetts Ave NW. Coffee and more substantial fare are available at the Galley Café located in the rear of the lobby of 1625 Massachusetts Ave NW. Current Galley Café hours (subject to change) are Monday-Thursday 7:00 am-6:00 pm and Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm. STUDENT KITCHENWhile using the kitchen, please be mindful that the refrigerator is cleaned every two weeks on Friday. Labels with ‘Name, Date’ are provided for you to label items that you place in the refrigerator. For any food or drink items that do not have the ‘KEEP’ sticker affixed, it will be discarded. Bi-weekly signage is placed on the refrigerator for the next cleaning date. A water cooler is also located in the kitchen for students to get cold and hot water.? Students are also encouraged to bring reusable water bottles to use as cups are not provided. PARKING & METRO? The center is conveniently located near two Metro stops: DuPont Circle (south exit) on the red line (two blocks away) and Farragut West also on the blue, orange, and silver lines (five blocks away). Please visit more information.Parking is available at two convenient locations during the week:Colonial Parking garage located underneath 1625 Massachusetts Ave, NW (site #540).? The hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:00pm (you are able to exit the garage after the attendant leaves by pressing the gate release button). Please note the garage is only accessible before the building’s front doors lock at 9:30 pm Monday-Thursday. Cash and credit cards are accepted. The cost is $19 for all day access and $7 for access after 4:30pm. There is also an early bird special for those arriving before 8:30am for $12 all day. Monthly parking passes are available for this garage for $270/month. To receive monthly parking order online at or call 202-295-8100. Please note if you park in front of another vehicle to retrieve your key before 7:00pm that is when the attendant leaves for the evening.Colonial Parking garage located at 1730 Rhode Island Ave. The hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00am-11:00pm, Friday 7:00am-4:00am, and Saturday 8:00am-4:00am; you must exit by closing time. The cost is $20 for all day access and $10 for access after 4:00pm and $12 for access on Saturday; there is also an early bird special for those arriving before 9:00am for $14 all day.Additional Saturday Parking Penn Parking ?(1717 Rhode Island Ave- under St. Matthews Cathedral)-The garage entrance is on the right after the 1717 building if you are driving towards M street NW.?Current garage hours are Monday- Friday 7:00 am- 9:00 pm, Saturday 6:30 am- 7:00 pm, and Sunday 7:00 am- 7:00 pm. All day parking in this garage is $16.00 and an early bird rate of $13.00 is available if you enter the garage before 10:00 am Monday-Friday. Parking is $5.00 after 4:00 pm and on weekends.? The Colonial Parking garage located at 1625 Massachusetts Avenue has asked us to remind all students that parking fees are good for only one entrance to the garage. Even if a parker has paid the all day rate if they leave and re-enter the garage on the same day they will be required to pay again.
